Our programs are grounded in rigorous research on human development, resiliency, and values-based leadership.
The Human Values Center is actively engaged in research that bridges academic scholarship with real-world community practice. Our research informs every program we deliver and contributes to the growing body of knowledge on collective wellbeing, ecological belonging, and values-based leadership.
Ongoing research in partnership with the Trauma Resource Institute on the efficacy of CRM®-based interventions for youth and community wellbeing.
Examining the relationship between place-based outdoor education experiences and the development of ecological belonging and community identity in adolescents.
Development and validation of assessment instruments measuring organizational climate, values alignment, and collective wellbeing in educational institutions.
Our programs draw on established frameworks in neuroscience, trauma-informed care, positive psychology, and indigenous ecological knowledge. The Community Resiliency Model (CRM®), developed by the Trauma Resource Institute, forms the neurobiological foundation of our wellbeing work.
We integrate the scholarship of leading researchers in the fields of sentipensante pedagogy, ecological belonging, and values-based leadership to create programs that are both academically rigorous and practically transformative.
We welcome partnerships with academic institutions, researchers, and practitioners who share our commitment to evidence-based community wellbeing.
